Spend a day immersed in the world of citrus as we visit three unique properties across the Kangaroo Valley region, learning from experienced growers, permaculturists, and orchardists. Whether you're caring for a backyard lemon tree or dreaming of establishing your own orchard, this hands-on tour will give you practical knowledge and inspiration to take home.

The day begins at at Fire Mountain Permaculture, where you'll learn the fundamentals of citrus care, including a practical pruning workshop and grafting demonstration. A small break for a self- catered lunch stop From there, we'll head to Winderong Farm for an insightful tour and discussion on soil ecology, tree health, natural pest management, and building resilient growing systems.

We'll finish at the stunning Yarrawa Estate, home to a commercial citrus orchard supplying fruit to some of Sydney's finest restaurants. Discover how citrus is grown on a larger scale, hear the story behind the orchard, and gain a unique behind-the-scenes look at producing premium fruit for the hospitality industry.

Along the way, you'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, connect with fellow growers, and deepen your understanding of how to grow healthy, productive citrus trees.
