Event description

An afternoon with renowned citrus authority, Ian Tolley OAM CF

Ian is Australia's Mr Citrus and there is nothing he doesn't know or can't answer about citrus! So we are excited that he agreed to participate in an exclusive, limited numbers Sophie's Patch event to answer participants' personal citrus questions.
  • To facilitate the day attendees are required to send in their questions in advance on booking, so that Ian can group and arrange the questions to make sure they are all covered.
  • Please also bring quality phone photos of your citrus problem or a sample in a sealed bag.

Ian is Sophie's citrus guru who helped her plan and plant her citrus grove to cope with extremes of heat, frosts to minus 5, wind and salty bore water.  we might be able to illustrate a specific point covered in the workshop during the stroll around the garden

If you have ever been fortunate enough to hear Ian speak, you will know he is not only knowledgeable but both lively and entertaining. All in all, it will be an educational and fun afternoon.

Running from 1.30-4.30pm on Saturday 25th September. This special event includes a delicious afternoon tea with cakes made from Sophie's Patch produce PLUS a garden tour with Sophie herself where Ian might be able to illustrate a specific point in her developing citrus grove.

Numbers strictly limited ..... Cost $76 plus booking fee

'Common Sense Citrus'

Ian Tolley will bring some copies of his book ‘Common Sense Citrus’ for sale at the workshop. It sells for $130 and is the bible for citrus growers.
