Growing Food with Less Water

Do you want to grow vegetables and keep fruit trees alive through hot weather without excessive watering?  This workshop will provide you with tips and methods to heatproof your garden including a demonstration of how to make a wicking bed.

There will be a great door prize to win too!

About the presenter
Yann Toussaint has over 25 years experience in running community gardens, bush regeneration nurseries and landscaping services. He has taught extensively at UWA and South Regional TAFE in various aspects of permaculture, horticulture, sustainability and community development and regularly delivers gardening, sustainability and nature journaling workshops for adults and children.
