Event description
This emerging leadership series is aimed at people who are exploring or who have recently stepped into a more official leadership role. The series offers 3 bite sized opportunities to fine tune your leadership style, learn more about supervising and managing staff in largely crisis focused organisations, exploring the importance of workplace culture and how to sustain yourself as a leader.
The series is on-line and aims to offer interactive learning opportunities for learners wanting to relate more strongly with their own leadership confidence and capability as well as connect with other emerging leaders in the sector.
This series consists of the following three sessions - you are registering in all three and will be sent a Zoom link and diary invite on registration.
Workshop 1: Stepping in (6 August 9.30-12pm)
- Leadership styles, models & frameworks
- Defining and articulating your leadership
- Your values and how they influence.
Workshop 2: Being in (13 August 9.30am-12pm)
- Supporting and supervising staff
- Accountability and managing performance
- Having the tough conversations
Workshop 3: Reaching out (20 August 9.30am-12pm)
- Sustaining yourself as a leader
- The importance of workplace culture and values
- The value of a peer support/mentoring networks
