Growing Through It, GTI Grief Support Group, for Young People (12-17 years) is specifically designed to support young people experiencing Grief and Loss associated with suicide bereavement.

Losing someone to suicide can cause uncomfortable emotions to emerge. Navigating these emotions can be difficult and messy, but it can also be beautiful, if you learn how to move through the emotions and process the grief. The GTI Grief Support Group is specifically designed to help young people better understand and manage their emotional responses through peer-to-peer support and therapeutical support.

Face-to-face at Armadale Headspace

Meeting Dates & Times:

Date: Commences on Tuesday 13 August, 2024 and runs weekly for 8 weeks.

Time: 1-3pm

Session format:

Face-to-face sessions will include a combination of engaging activities with integrated talk therapy.

It will be age-appropriate and we are looking for a committed group of young people who are willing to grow together by providing mutual support.
