A fun and hands-on zero-waste gardening session on how to make beautiful soil and fertiliser naturally, using home-made compost from organic garden and kitchen waste.

Save the planet and money and meet like-minded souls.

Topics include:

• Carbon-cycling to keep organic waste out of landfill, reducing greenhouse gas emissions

• Getting the most out of worm compost

• Turning bokashi waste into compost

• Making quality compost-based soil for healthy Perth gardens.

• Scaling up and DIY composting systems including bokashi and weed tea.

• Tips and tricks for all size gardens.

• Waterwise gardening tips including wicking beds.

• Pot up seedlings to take home.

Hands-on activity to build an instant veggie garden using compost.

Please wear a hat, gloves and closed shoes.

Join us for a morning tea under our giant fig tree afterwards!
