This all day event covers absolutely everything you need to know about growing this very nutritious food.

The morning session covers all the theory associated with growing avocados. Varieties, climate suitability, how to choose a site, methods of planting, fertilising and watering regimes, pests and diseases and long term management. All notes are provided in a comprehensive take home pack of information. This session includes morning tea (provided). 

We will then have a lunch break (bring your own).

The afternoon session is a practical demonstration on-site of planting an avocado tree. See first hand how to best plant these trees and have an opportunity to help with the process. (Afternoon refreshment included).
