GSN X ROLAND X GAC presents: Tasman Keith

RETURNING TO THE GOLDEN STAGE: One of the biggest highlights of our 2024 program - Tasman Keith Returns. 

Tasman Keith inherited music. Since first appearing on stage at age eight alongside his pioneering father, Tasman channelled adolescent listlessness into the outlet of hip hop – crammed with six cousins in a makeshift studio at their local youth centre. Determined from a young age to only ever run his own race, imbued with a singular desire to occupy a boundaryless territory of his own and has been recognised nationally by many institutions such as triple j, Australian Independent Record Awards, National Indigenous Music Awards. 

Looking back on 2024, the year has been fruitful for Keith in many ways. From playing the annual Yabun Festival, to taking over the Sydney Opera House in April and Vivid Sydney soon after, to releasing his new single 'August 24th' and receiving Australian Music Video Of The Year by Triple J and Rage for his collaborative song Lordy Lordy with Warnindhilyagwa woman and singer Emily Wurramara.
