Guarding Governance® is a professional development workshop designed to assist Executives and Directors in developing their capacity building skills to support effective governance practices, with a particular focus on Indigenous governance systems.
We will explain the principles of good governance and teach you diverse communication styles, and you will acquire skills to incorporate a cultural perspective into your management approach. This workshop will focus on improving your ability to make strong decisions so that you can lead better in your organisation.
Our Governance training has already been successfully applied to a range of industries and agencies, including; information technology, construction, communication, design, museum & gallery, science, research, arts and education. We've trained Aboriginal Corporations, Land Councils and private companies.
Testimonial
"The time and energy the team invested in yarns, consultation, and research made us feel heard/understood. We've grown and been strengthened as individuals and a collective because of the culturally grounded knowledge, frameworks, and processes shared. Deepest thanks to Terri Janke and Company for the transformative change they've been a part of at Weenthunga - we look forward to continuing to work with you over the years to come!"
