Guide Dogs Victoria - Explore Puppy Raising Presentation - Wednesday 5th March, 2025

Explore the joy of raising a Guide Dog Puppy:

• View our beautiful young pups
• Meet a current Puppy Raiser and the pup they are raising
• Hear the story of a Guide Dog's journey and how they change people's lives
• Hear from our Guide Dog Trainers and see the work they do each day preparing future Guide Dogs.

Light refreshments will be served before the event begins, please arrive by 10:45 am.

Learn more about becoming a Puppy Raiser via the link below, for example our 5 main criteria to become a Puppy Raiser:

• Pups must not be left alone for more than 3-4 hours across each day.
• Pups must sleep indoors.
• Applicants must drive, have access to a vehicle 24/7 to attend puppy class and vet clinics or emergency vet visits.
• Children in the home should be 5 years plus, or soon to be 5.
• Garden, pools, spas & courtyards must be safely fenced.
