Guided Forest Walks
Description
Join our knowledgeable volunteer guides for an hour-long walking tour through the ever-changing forests. Discover more about the trees, features and history of the National Arboretum Canberra.
With over 20 kilometres of multipurpose trails weaving through a mosaic of 95 individual forests, each tour is tailored to the season, ensuring you experience the forests at their most spectacular.
Times: March - November
Every Saturday / 2pm - 3pm
Every Sunday / 11am - 12pm
Every Monday / 11am - 12pm
Price: Adult: $5, Children (12-16 with an accompanying adult): Free
Bookings close one hour prior to departure.
Please note you will encounter uneven gravel paths and forest terrain. A moderate level of fitness and agility is required.

- Where do we meet?
Meet at the information desk inside the Village Centre.
- Is this event accessible?
Tours are led through a variety of forests in the Arboretum and may encounter hilly, uneven terrain. A moderate level of fitness is required. An accessible Forest Walk can be arranged, please get in touch at arboretum@act.gov.au so we can tailor an experience that best suits you.
- What should I bring?
Bring a hat, drinking water, sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
