    Event description

Join Us for a Guided Adventure Through Twin Falls Circuit on Saturday 1st June. Dean will be taking 10 local adventure lovers on an unforgettable journey through breathtaking landscapes with this guided 4k hike.

Discover the wonders of Springbrook National Park on a half-day guided bushwalk through the breathtaking Twin Falls Circuit. Departing from Wildearth at 8am on the 1st of June, this immersive journey will take you deep into the heart of Queensland's natural paradise. This 4km hike takes us through lush forests, passing behind two magnificent waterfalls, through rock clefts, and among towering palms and majestic tree ferns.

Our experienced guide, Dean will lead you through the diverse forest types to uncover hidden treasures. Keep your eyes peeled for the smooth, pink bark of brush box trees, which line the track and hold a fascinating secret. Radio-carbon dated at an astonishing 1500 years, these ancient trees are among the oldest ever discovered on Australia's mainland!

After a morning of exploration and discovery, we'll return to Wild Earth Burleigh Heads by approximately 3pm, leaving you with memories to last a lifetime and a newfound appreciation for the wonders of Springbrook National Park.

Meet: 8am @ Wild Earth Burleigh Heads Car Park where we will pick you up and drive you to the trail head.

    Snacks & goodies are included!

We acknowledge and honour the traditional custodians of the land we explore and share. This land is the ancestral home of the Kombumerri, Wangerriburra and Bullongin People. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture.

    A note from Dean:

I am a passionate forest guide with over 15 years of experience, specializing in the unique rainforests of South East Queensland. For nearly a decade, I loved being the Guiding and Education Manager at Binna Burra Mountain Lodge, where I dedicated myself to sharing the wonders of this pristine natural haven with people from all walks of life. My heart lies in revealing the secrets of the magnificent plants, animals, and rich history that make South East Queensland's rainforests a truly special place. With every guided adventure, I aim to foster a deep appreciation for the natural world and create unforgettable memories in the heart of this lush, vibrant ecosystem. I can’t wait to share it with you.

This is an accessible adventure: full-day walk with gentle inclines and relatively easy terrain, suitable for adventurers of all skill levels. Please contact Wild Earth if you have any concerns.
