    Event description

    Join Trail Trekkers, founded by Bob and Tracy Baker, for our monthly trail adventure geared towards runners, trotters, and hikers! 

    This is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the local trails and meet local, like-minded outdoor frothers. 

    Come along for an approximately 2 hour session with extra time afterward for a hot drink and a chat.


    The details for our next event are as follows:

    Meeting Point: Bellbird Grove Day Use area D'Aguilar NP (about 16km from Brisbane's city centre)

    When:  Saturday 5th of October

    Time: 7.00 am

    More details Below: 

    Session 1: Led by Tracy Baker - Perfect for runners/hikers who are comfortable on the road and eager to explore trails. 

    Requirements: Able to walk (not necessarily fast) for 5 km or more on the road. 

    Session 2: Led by Bob Baker - Tailored for runners who are comfortable on the road and want to take on new trail challenges.

    Requirements: Able to run (doesn't have to be fast) at least 10 km on the road comfortably. - Note: Active hiking on hills is perfectly fine. “No runner or hiker gets left behind." We always ensure everyone is rounded up and part of the group. 

    Fun guaranteed! 

    What to Bring: 

    - Water and nutrition for 2 hours 

    - Snake bandage 

    - Emergency blanket 

    - Hat and sun protection 

    - Your own medical or safety supplies as needed 

    Cost: Nothing but a smile 

    This run/trott/hike is free, and both Bob and Tracy will be there to guide and support you. 

    Post-Session: Join us after the session for a cuppa, as Bob will put on the billy. Don’t forget to bring your own cup!

    This is a moderate adventure: 1/2 day walk with medium inclines, some stairs and relatively easy terrain, suitable for adventurers with moderate fitness and no injuries. Please contact Wild Earth if you have any concerns.
