Join us for a special mid-week, tranquil and impactful kayaking adventure and litter cleanup through the largest restored wetland in Virginia! Whether you’re an experienced paddler or a curious beginner, this tour promises an unforgettable experience.
Event Details:
Time: 10:00 am – Noon
Target Age: 16 and up (participants under 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult guardian)
Fee:
$20 per person for Elizabeth River Project members
$30 per person for non-members (to become a member, visit Elizabeth River Project)
What to Expect:
Our knowledgeable Elizabeth River Project staff will guide you through the fascinating marsh ecosystem and into the serene waters of Paradise Creek. Take action by helping to collect trash and litter along the way.
All equipment—kayaks, life jackets, and paddles—will be provided.
Meet our friendly staff by the garage or building entrance 10-15 minutes before the kayak tour begins.
Don’t forget to bring:
