Guided Ride: Oxford Street Cycleway - City Connections
Event description
Start and finish at Taylor Square as we roll out to celebrate the new Oxford Street Cycleway—an exciting step forward in Sydney’s bike-friendly transformation.
This ride is about connection. Not just with people, but with place, with possibility, and with the confidence to ride more often. Ride alongside others who are curious, building skills, or keen to explore new ways of moving through the city.
We’ll ride Oxford Street in both directions, taking time to observe its new features, ask questions, and understand how it links to a wider network of cycleways, shared paths, and quieter streets.
From there, we’ll head towards Circular Quay, point out access to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and follow the Kent Street Cycleway to discover connections into Darling Harbour. We’ll return via Liverpool Street and the route back to Taylor Square—completing a loop that’s as scenic as it is informative.
Whether you're mapping future journeys or discovering what’s newly possible by bike, this guided ride offers a calm, supported way to experience the city.
Guided rides are led by friendly ride leaders from Pedal Set Go for the City of Sydney.
