Event description

Vivid Twilight Guided Ride: Barangaroo & Beyond

Join us for a twilight ride from Central Station to Barangaroo Reserve, celebrating the opening of the new Hickson Road Cycleway. We’ll roll along bike-friendly streets and foreshore paths, finishing in time for Firetalk— a free Vivid Ideas event with Wiradjuri poet Jazz Money at Walumil Lawns.

This ride is about connection — to place, to people, and to culture. From sandstone to steel, from language to light, we’ll explore how riding shapes our experience of the city.

Explore public infrastructure that supports riding, storytelling, and shared spaces. We’ll move at a relaxed pace, making time for views and conversations.

People can stay for the Firetalk, enjoy more of Vivid at their leisure, and then ride or take the Metro back to the start.

Finish: Barangaroo Reserve – in time for Firetalk (6.30–7.00pm)
