    Event description

Join Park Ambassador Loine Sweeney for a Guided Walk, visiting the highlights of the Adelaide Botanic Garden, including the International Rose Garden, the Bicentennial tropical conservatory, the First Creek wetlands, Australian forest, Adelaide's oldest tree, the Botanic lake, 1877 glass Palm House, the Garden of Health, and the Gingko Gate. Easy (free) parking on Plane Tree Drive). Wear sturdy shoes for a walk of just over 2km. Children most welcome. The only dogs permitted in the Botanic Garden are "assistance dogs".  NB: We will not be going inside the tropical conservatory on this Guided Walk, because it is restricted to paid visitors to the Chihuly glass art display.   Nevertheless we will view a number of the Chihuly art glass installations, on show throughout the Garden, as we pass by them during our Guided Walk.
