Event description

Oakley Creek / Te Auaunga Awa is one of Auckland’s longest urban streams, flowing from Hillsborough through Mt Roskill, Owairaka and Waterview to the Waitematā Harbour. The creek’s rich Māori and European heritage and abundance of native and exotic flora and fauna makes it an important natural asset.

Running in conjunction with our current exhibition: Tony Nyberg: Oakley Creek / Te Auaunga Awa, we bring you two guided walks from the Friends of Oakley Creek. Spaces are limited.

Meeting point is the car park in Unitec opposite Te Kotahitanga Marae.
Access is via Gate 3 off Carrington Road.

Sensible footwear and water bottle recommended.

Two date options available:

Sunday 3 July, 2-4pm
Sunday 24 July, 1-3pm
