Guitar & Creativity Workshops with Ben Catley - YOUTH

With a goal of helping you to think creatively and to believe in yourself, this masterclass can offer value to anyone, but is mostly aimed at those who have an interest in the guitar and music. Suitable for all ages and musical abilities.

Ben will display his unique style of acoustic guitar playing, including his over-the-neck and fret-tapping techniques. He will talk about how he developed his sound and his live show that he has toured around the world. Ben is very open about his lack of musical training and ‘natural talent’, and is a strong believer in hard work, ambition and creating opportunities for yourself. He will share stories from the road, tips and tricks for the guitar and the stage, writing your own music, how to keep things exciting both for yourself and for your audience, and more. Ben will also perform a handful of guitar pieces, as well as welcome any questions.

Note: This is an informative session. Feel free to bring a notepad to take notes - but no instruments are needed for audience members
