We're back and bigger than ever! The Bayview Block Party returns to the heart of the Bayview to celebrate Gumbo Social's second year as a brick-and-mortar restaurant!

We're turning it up featuring activations all along 3rd street, special guests, food and merch vendors, Poet-4-Hire, a second line parade and music by the Gumbo Band, DJ NiCE 4 LiFE and more.

SF African American Culture District is partnering with SFMTA to offer shuttle rides to and from the block party!

Meet us at Smoke Soul Kitchen at 11 AM, get a mimosa, and march with the Gumbo Band with fun stops along the way!

The event takes place at businesses all along the 3rd St. corridor with the party in the parking lot at 3rd St. & Thornton Ave next to Gumbo Social. Let's come together to celebrate:
