Event description

Gunitá: [noun] memory; recollection; reminiscence; phantasm.

In coordination with NARRA Co-op, join us on Saturday, November 30, at the newly refurbished Great Hall, Parramatta's Town Hall, from 5 PM onwards for a night that honours the memories we’ve made, the milestones we’ve reached, and the sense of belonging we’ve nurtured as a community of young adults. This is more than an event—it’s a heartfelt celebration of how far we've come in 2024!

✨ What to Expect ✨

  • A night filled with soul-warming Filipino dishes in a three-course buffet 🍽️
  • A meaningful celebration of FSS highlights 🇵🇭
  • Opportunities for genuine connections in a warm and welcoming atmosphere 🌿

As the academic year comes to a close, let's come together for a moment to pause, reflect, and appreciate the little moments that made this year so special. Let’s gather to celebrate these shared memories and look ahead to new ones.

🏆 Annual Awards Ceremony 🏆

The highlight of the night will be our annual awards ceremony, where we’ll be recognising the outstanding contributions of our society executives and members. It’s not just about gold stars—it’s about the mark we’ve left on each other’s lives and the memories we’ll carry forward. Secure your seat and be there to cheer on your friends or maybe even receive a well-deserved moment in the spotlight.

🌸 Attire Theme: Sampaguita and Silk 🌸

Inspired by the Philippines' national flower, the Sampaguita, and the elegance of silk, this theme is all about a graceful, nostalgic vibe. Think:

  • Floral patterns or soft, neutral tones
  • Flowy silks, breezy fabrics like linen or chiffon
  • Traditional Filipino embroidery
  • Modern twists on Filipino attire

Mix and match for your own unique look!

Spread the word, mark your calendars, and remember—maybe not your messy situationship for this one. Find a better date for this heartfelt celebration. See you there!
