GV Pride Tree Planting Crew - National Tree Day 2024

Greater Shepparton City Council are hosting a tree planting event for National Tree Day, and we're gathering our LGBTQIA+ community to join in. This years event will be held at the Yakka Basin, located at 25a Hawkins Street, Shepparton. Once we finish planting we will head off for brunch/lunch/refreshments as reward for all our hard work!

For those just coming for refreshments, we will be at Milestone Cafe, 7723 Goulburn Valley Highway, Shepparton, from 12noon onwards. Drinks and meals at own cost.

Registrations via humanitix link are required so that we can book a table for brunch as well as registering our group with Planet Ark to make sure we're covered by their insurance for the planting event.

Please wear sturdy closed toe shoes to protect your toesies, dress warmly for cold weather, and perhaps don't wear your really good nice clothes as you are likely to get a bit dirty! All gloves and planting equipment will be provided on the day.
