Breakfast with the Birds
Event description
Join the Greta Valley Landcare Group and Sustainable Farms ecologists, for a light breakfast followed by a bush wander with your binoculars to learn more about woodland birds. We have a number of woodland and migratory species that are regular visitors to this reserve next to Fifteen Mile Creek and this is a great opportunity to learn more about some of our local bird species.
Breakfast will be served at 8.30am (pastries and tea/coffee) followed by a guided walk of the reserve between 9-10am. Attendees are also invited to stay on for a light morning tea as a social catch up for our Landcare Group Christmas gathering.
Please bring your binoculars, a chair and water bottle to the event. Please wear appropriate shoes for a short walk through a bushland reserve and be sun smart. Whilst the reserve is flat, the ground may be uneven in places.
