Cameron Jones, a guitarist, composer, festival director, and educator, channels the vibrancy of authentic manouche jazz through his Selmer-style guitar, intertwining percussive rhythms with bright, expressive melodies.

His annual pilgrimages to Europe, retracing Django Reinhardt's footsteps, garnered him unparalleled mentorship, enriching his repertoire with a rare depth of authenticity.

In his performances across Australia, Jones captivates audiences with original narratives, infusing each piece with the unpredictable allure of gypsy jazz, keeping listeners on edge with dangerously spontaneous improvisations.

The format for the afternoon will be two 45min sets of music, followed by an acoustic gypsy jazz jam open to all.
