Habitat for Platypus - Community Planting Day

Join us for a community planting to help rehabilitate and protect valuable platypus habitats.
ECOllaboration is excited to announce a community planting event this October that is funded by our Adopt-A-Platypus program and our partnership with Unitywater. We will spend the morning planting up to 1000 of native shrubs, ground covers and trees to help rehabilitate and protect platypus habitat in Coes Creek, that has been severely impacted by the flooding and increased development in surrounding areas
No experience is required, and all ages are welcome! Morning tea will be provided 🍌🍎🥪 alongside the necessary tools and guidance.
When: Saturday October 4th, 8.00am-10.30am
Where: 91 Coes Creek Road
To bring: Long pants, long sleeves, sturdy enclosed shoes, hat, sunscreen, water, gloves if you have your own. This event may require minimal walking into the area.
Parking: Parking is available in the Burnside shops carpark at 91 Coes Creek Road
