The kaupapa of Te Waipounamu - Kia Piki Te Ora is a collaborative initiative focused on suicide prevention for Māori, aimed at achieving improved outcomes for whānau. Haere Tonu is tino rangatiratanga in action; promoting te reo me ona tīkanga, mātauranga Māori & whanaungatanga.
On our hīkoi we will be sharing a collective message of aroha and kotahitanga across the motu.This a unique opportunity to learn māori approaches to wellbeing & to meet other kaimahi and whānau from all corners of Te Waipounamu.
