Film premiere about Syrian artist and peace activist Hala al-Faisal
"Hala - A Woman's Journey" is a moving film that explores resilience and creativity in tough times. Filmmaker Mohamed Sameer Tahan captures the life of Syrian artist Hala al-Faisal during her return to Homs amid the Covid-19 pandemic offering an intimate glimpse into Hala's passions and concerns.
The score for the film was composed by Mahdi AlMahdi, who is based in Damascus.
