OmnOCulture
OmnoCulture is a celebration of creativity, new ideas and community spirit for everyone, of everything from everywhere.
Half Bent OmnoCulture follows on from their hugely succsessful community funded three-day music festival held in West Brunswick.
Half Bent has programmed concerts and festivals around Melbourne, in Trades Hall, Arts House and Fitzroy Bowling Club and most recently in community spaces in West Brunswick. The organisation champions new and creative music, and diversity of thought and artistic practice;
but most importantly Half Bent aims to connect curious listeners and people from all walks of life: with each other, with live music, with their own community.
Half Bent is a 100% volunteer organisation and is powered by the energy and good will of its committee and helpers. Money is raised through ticket sales and donations from the community, to pay for venue hire, promotion, production hire and most importantly the performing musicians. All musicians performing in the festival will be paid for their work.
