Halfway Home

Halfway Home (5* The Wee Review) follows the Crighton family, Freddie, an aspiring policeman, and his fiancée, Laura, a nurse working in a strained healthcare system. Everything seems to be going for the young couple until Davie, Freddie’s brother, is released from prison with nowhere to go. Attempting to reconnect the family, Davie is taken in, however his dark past of alcohol addiction casts a shadow over the couples’ suburban dreams. Worldviews collide, hard truths are told, and secrets are revealed. Can the past be put to rest and will these three characters ever live the conventional family life they all want?
