Join us for a special cultural walk at the Hall Ring Trees site — a rare and significant place within Ngunawal/Ngunnawal Country.

This free one-hour community event will offer the opportunity to learn about the Ngunawal/Ngunnawal people's cultural pathways, the importance of ring trees, and the deep connections to Country that continue to guide land and water care in the ACT region today.

Led in partnership with Ngunawal/Ngunnawal Custodians and Ginninderra Catchment Group, the walk will explore:

  • The cultural significance of ring trees — shaped by Ngunawal/Ngunnawal ancestors as living signposts

  • The broader Ngunawal/Ngunnawal pathways and meeting places across the ACT and Yass region

  • How traditional knowledge continues to shape conservation and cultural heritage work today

🌱 Who should attend?
Everyone is welcome! This event is open to community members, families, local historians, landcarers, educators, and anyone interested in learning more about the rich cultural history of our region.
