HALLOWEEN HORROR SHORTS 2026

Halloween Horror Shorts 2026

Horror is so hot right now!

Join us at Regent 3 Cinemas for an afternoon of horror shorts showcasing stories, voices and visions from filmmakers across the Wairarapa and Wellington region.

We’ll begin with a filmmaker panel, bringing some of the people behind the films together to talk about their work, their creative process and what goes into making a horror short.

Then the lights go down and the films begin.

The programme brings together a selection of horror shorts from local and independent filmmakers, including selected episodes of the animated series Bloke of the Apocalypse by Wellington animator and filmmaker Charlie Faulks.

We want this to be a chance to discover new work, hear directly from the filmmakers and experience their films on the big screen.

Whether you love horror, make films yourself, are curious about the creative process, or simply want to spend Halloween afternoon at the cinema, come along, we'd love to see you.
