ABOUT

The Goddess Programme is a short mind and body course for girls aged 8 to 13 to give them confidence, self-assuredness and coping techniques as they grow into teenagers.

It’s a programme placing emphasis on positive minds with a mixture of inspirational storytelling, a little magic and physical coping mechanisms such as breathing and yoga. The girls learn about friendships, personal values and set goals through creative craft experiences.

We aim to celebrate what being a female means as well as encouraging independent self-discovery and creating connections that will last far beyond the timeframe of the programme.

Above all the Goddess Programme creates a world where your female spirits feel safe, connected and supported.

STRUCTURE:

Goddess Workshops are structured around the three pillars; MIND, BODY and COMMUNITY.

Mind: Discusses each individual girls’ ‘guiding light’ (values). Girls will also be able to develop individualised positive affirmations and learn about their ‘inner voice’. All girls will learn how to create happy, healthy friendships and will be given tools to resolve conflict and communicate powerfully.

Body: This component is present in each workshop through breath work and yoga. The breath work gives students practical strategies to cope with anxiety and other big emotions, a superpower tool for everyday life.

Community: Teamwork and collaboration will be used to create a close-knit girl tribe with the goal that each girl feels supported and encouraged.

The wide range of activities ensures that all different types of learners are engaged and motivated.

FEEDBACK:

"This was, without a doubt, exactly what my daughter needed. It was relevant and engaging and has provided her with a set of skills and tools that will help form the basis of her being able to cope with her big feelings. The content was stimulating, exciting and age-appropriate in allowing her to access self-regulation, self-awareness, and most importantly self-confidence and love."  - Trish (parent)

"My daughter had a lot of fun and was looking forward to attending the workshop each day. She came away with some amazing self-confidence and tips and also friendships. The facilitators were super engaging with the girls." - Brigitta (parent)

"I loved trying new things and enjoyed my experience, and it helped me become a better version of myself." - Maya (Goddess)
