$90 per person (includes all materials, firing, and one complimentary drink)

Join us for a relaxed and hands-on ceramics workshop designed for beginners and creative souls alike! In this 2-hour hand-building session, you’ll learn how to sculpt your very own platter or a set of trinket dishes using simple techniques - with your own little working station and tools.
Guided by Dora-ly from Ocean Glaze Ceramics, you’ll shape, design, and decorate your clay creation using a wide selection of colourful underglazes. Once your piece is dry and fired, it will be glazed with a food-safe clear glaze. Perfect for everyday use or as a cherished handmade gift.
What’s Included:
2-hour guided workshop
All clay, tools, and materials
Use of underglazes for decorating
Clear glaze and two kiln firings
Your own workstation with tools and brushes

Apron and towel provided
What to Expect:
A laid-back, social atmosphere with plenty of room for creativity and chats
No experience necessary – just bring your imagination and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy
Dora-ly will offer step-by-step guidance and help you shape your vision
Your finished piece will be ready for collection in approx. 6 weeks (postage available at extra cost)
Important Notes:
Firing can take up to 6 weeks – please be prepared to return to collect your piece
Ocean Glaze Ceramics is not liable for the durability or functionality of your final piece
All creations are glazed with food-safe materials, but use them at your own discretion
About Your Host:
Ocean Glaze Ceramics is the creative venture of Dora-ly Kennel, a passionate ceramicist based in Stansbury on the Yorke Peninsula. Her home studio ; affectionately called “The Shedio” is where all her functional and unique ceramic pieces come to life. You can often find her at the Stansbury Seaside Market, sharing her handmade wares with the community.
