Handle With Care Screening
Description
We are so excited to screen indie director Matthew James Thompson's film 'Handle With Care'.
The only way to watch this film before it hits theatrical release is on a single DVD traveling around the country for small indie audiences. West Art is lucky to be one such stop on this tiny DVD's journey!
It is a story about living in the wake of a short-lived marriage, a jaded romantic sells his unopened wedding gifts online – only to find that the stories from buyers might just restore his faith in love.
For a movie about a marriage falling apart, this film is really good at bringing people together in a really special way. It's a little ode to the nostalgia of physical media and looks more like a ransom drop than an indie comedy screener. Inside the case, custom-cut foam holds the one and only “Handle With Care” DVD. There’s also a portable player, some cables, a remote, special instructions, a grab-bag of collected keepsakes, and handwritten reviews from every person who’s had the oddly delightful divorce film so far. This is free and open to everyone, please join us in this screening.
