Handling Archives: Workshop

Join ex-Honi Soit editor and archival wunderkind Marlow Hurst as he delves into the archives and shows us how to handle them with care. In this workshop, you'll learn how to approach archives as a journalist (it's not just the work of historians) and use them to produce fascinating and unique articles. 

About Marlow Hurst

Marlow Hurst is a former editor of Honi Soit and a former senior editor of PULP magazine. Most recently he’s been the University of Sydney Union’s archivist, helping the organisation celebrate 150 years of student unionism on campus. He has a strong belief in student newspapers as publications of record and loves stories of campus past.
