Handpan Beginner Workshop with Rosie and Amy

BEGINNER INTENSIVE WORKSHOP

We are incredibly excited to announce the coming of these two wonderful humans all the way from London, Rosie Bergonzi and Amy Naylor. With so much to offer, this has been a long time in the making, and finally we can welcome them into our community.
Amy and Rosie have performed and taught at countless handpan festivals and events around the globe. Both teach master class courses on Handpan DOJO and have YouTube channels where they provide 'easily digestible handpan tutorials' and share their original music.

This workshop will be held in Ceres, the community lead environment park in the heart of Melbourne, Victoria. We will provide a safe and insulated environment where you can feel free and comfortable to embark on a soulful journey into the teachings of both Amy and Rosie. The workshop will run from 9am until 6pm, and include an interactive performance at the end, nourishing food and beverage is available from the Ceres cafe on site, ensuring to facilitate your exploration into your inner Handpan artist and find your voice on the instrument.

Who can attend:

This workshop caters to beginners of all sorts, whether you've had your instrument for a few days or a few years. Whether you are able to strike the note and produce a sound, or sitting with it for the first time, then this is just the foundation needed for these seasoned educators to guide you through the basics of handpan playing. You'll learn how to produce clean, resonant tones and explore simple melodies that captivate the senses.
