The handpan is an intuitive instrument that was shaped into reality in the year 2000. While it is a new instrument to the world, its lineage and inspiration has global reach that dates back hundreds of years. 

UK-based handpan artist, songwriter, educator and global performer Amy Naylor joins Sean Youngman (Philly) & Sarah Paz Hyde (Maryland) at Mishana for another amazing day in Handpan Heaven!

Absolute beginners and all are welcome to learn a brief history and try your hand playing about 20 different styles of this mystical instrument they will be bringing to share!

Learn the history of the instrument, discover your unique touch, explore basic rhythms, and enjoy hands-on group play to connect to the spirit of play through the vibrations of sound & touch.

THE CONCERT (7-8:30pm)

Join us for a special first-time evening concert in Handpan Heaven! UK-based handpan artist, songwriter, educator and global performer Amy Naylor returns to the U.S. and joins Sean Youngman & Sarah Paz Hyde for an intimate evening of handpan music and song! This evening's concert is more than a performance -- it's an invitation to co-create, and to celebrate the handpan and the voice as powerful tools for healing and self-expression.

Free Parking lot & garage! Register in advance to receive the arrival directions. When you pull into the Falls Center complex, you will see a large parking lot and garage to your right. (With Founded and The Preston on your left.) 

Mishana studio is inside The Preston. Make sure you are registering with a current email address to receive the arrival instructions, which will be sent by email. (Search your email or check your spam folder if you don't see it!)
