Hannah Jane Kile in Concert at Theater 5150

We have a treat for everyone September 12th , because that’s when Hannah Jane Kile and her band join us at Theater 5150! She’s formerly one-third of the highly acclaimed Dear Darling and currently one of the creative forces behind Solabel,  but that’s only part of the story. Hannah is an accomplished singer-songwriter who possesses enviable guitar chops (she’s been described as “a player who sings, rather than a singer who plays”) and a classically trained soprano that’s one of the most beautiful we’ve ever heard - really! Her songwriting blurs genres, as her influences range from Porter Wagoner, Dolly Parton, Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, to Bonnie Raitt and Adele. Her musical attitude moves from confessional to sassy and back, sometimes in the same song. She’s opened for Patty Griffin, Ingrid Michaelson, Carolyn Wonderland and many others.
