Event description

Celebrate Matariki! 

Celebrate the arrival of Matariki with traditional Māori craft. Join us for a free talk on the whakapapa and proper harvesting and the different uses of the Harakeke plant, presented by Kendra Barr, followed by a weaving demonstration, then try simple flax weaving yourself. All materials are supplied. 

All are welcome to this free workshop for adults.
