Hard Hat Tour with Bauen Build and BLDG. Collective

Join us as the Colorado Green Building Guild continues the famous Hard Hat Tour featuring a Certified Passive single family home in Boulder! This contemporary home is designed to complement the existing architectural scale and fabric of the Newlands neighborhood.  The project showcases the importance of a highly coordinated and collective effort of all parties involved to execute the implementation of passive principles into a contemporary design aesthetic. 

The build features a double studwall assembly with intricate air sealing details. The project recently had beautiful Enersign windows installed and MEP is underway. There will be various passive house details to review such as: foundation to wall assembly, interior air barrier, and service cavity. Chris Gray of BLDG.Collective and Matt Brill of Bauen Build will be guiding us through this project discussing the ins and outs of how this system comes together to create a high performance, architecturally unique home!
