Reiki Group Healing:
Group healing sessions typically involve a Reiki practitioner working with several clients at once in a shared space. During a group healing session, each client receives individual attention and Reiki energy from the practitioner, while also benefiting from the collective energy of the group.
Key points about group Reiki:
- Intention is key: The practitioner sets a clear intention to send Reiki energy to the group as a whole, focusing on the collective energy field.
- Hand placement: Depending on the group size and setting, the practitioner might place their hands lightly on individuals, hover above them, or even focus on a central point in the room.
- Adapting to individual needs: While sending Reiki to the group, the practitioner can be mindful of any specific needs or areas of concern each person might have.
Restorative - Yin Yoga:
Restorative Yin Yoga is a gentle and meditative yoga practice that combines principles of Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga to promote deep relaxation, flexibility, and inner calm.
- Yin Yoga focuses on holding poses for extended periods (typically 3-5 minutes or more) to lengthen the connective tissues, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia. This helps improve flexibility and enhances the flow of energy through the body.
- Restorative Yoga emphasizes complete relaxation, often using props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to fully support the body, allowing the nervous system to reset and stress to melt away.
When combined, Restorative Yin Yoga creates a deeply soothing practice that encourages physical stillness, mental calmness, and emotional release, making it an ideal choice for those seeking to restore balance and reduce stress.
Sound Healing:
Sound healing is a therapeutic practice that uses sound vibrations to promote relaxation, healing, and balance in the mind, body, and spirit. Instruments like Crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums, tuning forks, and chimes are used to create vibrations that resonate with the body's energy centers, reducing stress, and support overall well-being. By influencing brainwave patterns and the nervous system, sound healing encourages deep relaxation and helps release tension, facilitating physical, emotional, and energetic harmony.
Kristy and I are so excited to present and share our very first collaboration with you through this beautiful mini-event. We can’t wait to see you there!
