What we are fight : The Harsh Facts:

• Every 50 seconds, a woman dies from breast cancer.
• Every 19 seconds, a woman is diagnosed.
• 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed in their lifetime.
• Black women have a 40% higher death rate than others.
• Many are unaware that 85% of breast cancer diagnoses through BreastScreen NSW show no symptoms, making waiting for signs a dangerous gamble.
• Late Diagnosis: Even when services are available, systemic barriers and lack of awareness result in late-stage diagnosis.
• Cultural Barriers and Stigma: Women from African and migrant backgrounds often delay seeking help, even when they notice changes.

Rose Breast Health (RBH) is a grassroot nonprofit organization dedicated to improving breast cancer outcomes for underserved, migrant, and African women. RBH focuses on early detection, education, and access to care through culturally sensitive programs, community engagement, and holistic support. By breaking down barriers and raising awareness, RBH empowers women to take control of their breast health and ensures that no one faces breast cancer alone.
