Violinist Harry Wang and Young Steinway Artist pianist Jack Cheng will perform an enchanting concert at Mosman Art Gallery on 17/8/2025 .Their program features dazzling selections by Wieniawski, Ravel, and Franck’s Violin Sonata. Wang’s lyrical violin and Cheng’s expressive piano promise technical brilliance and deep emotion, creating unforgettable evening for audiences.

Performers:
Jack Cheng has a Bachelor and Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music and received a Licentiate of Music, Australia (LMusA) and Associate of Music, Australia (AMusA) from the Australian Music Examinations Board.
As a young Steinway artist he currently residing in Sydney, Jack is a professional concert pianist who has received numerous national and international accolades and scholarships. He also teaches piano and performs solo recitals, chamber music and other collaborative projects.
Over the years, jack has developed as a musician under the guidance of Clemens Leske, William Wolfram and the late Phillip Kawin. He has also collaborated with Marc Silverman, Alexander Korsantia, Ignat Solzhenitsyn, Matti Raekallio, Heasook Rhee and Phillip Shovk.
Jack has performed at venues across Australia, America, the United Kingdom and China, including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Town Hall, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and The Riverside Church in New York.
Committed to music education, community engagement and pedagogical research, Jack led a sold-out series of Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto Marathon performances across Australia in 2023 in honour of the composer's 150th anniversary.Jack is also the finalist of Australia National Piano Award in 2024.

Australian-Chinese violinist Harry Wang is a rising star celebrated for his expressive artistry and magnetic stage presence. A multiple Sydney Eisteddfod champion, Musica Viva Strike A Chord finalist, and Young Chinese Talents Artist Award winner, Harry has performed at the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Town Hall, and Musikverein Wien, as well as on CCTV Beijing.
Currently in his second year of a Bachelor of Music under Professor Simon James on scholarship, Harry won 2nd Prize at the SFCM Concerto Competition and the 2024/25 Coeur d’Alene Symphony Young Artist Competition, performing as soloist with the CSO in the USA.
He made his solo debut at 17 with the Mosman Symphony Orchestra and holds both AMusA and LMusA with distinction since age of 13. Offstage, he’s a passionate advocate for music education, raising $23,980 for Symphony for Life, and enjoys reading, basketball, volleyball, and offshore fishing.
With talent, discipline, and heart, Harry Wang is redefining what it means to be a 21st-century violinist.
Harry Wang 王致玺是一位屡获殊荣的澳籍华裔小提琴家,现为旧金山音乐学院(SFCM)Simon James 教授门下二年级全奖生。作为SFCM 协奏曲比赛二等奖及2024/25 Coeur d’Alene 交响乐团青年艺术家比赛冠军,他已在美国与该团合作演出。
他曾多次在悉尼歌剧院、维也纳金色大厅(Musikverein)、以及央视北京舞台登台亮相,赢得悉尼Eisteddfod多个奖项、Musica Viva室内乐决赛入围奖及全球华人新秀奖。
他亦热衷公益,透过慈善音乐会为教育筹得$23980澳元。舞台之外,Harry 喜爱阅读、篮球、排球及海钓,是一位全面发展的青年音乐家。
