Harriman Hike 2024

Join us on Sunday, November 10th for our Harriman Hike! 

The Reeves Brook trail starts at the Reeves Meadow trailhead parking area. Many suggest that this is one of the best hikes at Harriman State Park. Gorgeous streams, small waterfalls, rock scrambling, views- this trail has it all! 

Leading up to Chipmunk Mountain, we will encounter rock scrambles and beautiful views. We suggest following this loop counterclockwise from the parking lot: white-blazed reeves to the blue trail to the red trail (turn left on the red trail).

Bring your hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers (you’ll need them), dress warm, pack water and a sandwich, invite some friends, and get ready to enjoy the outdoors. We’ll start the day at Worthwild in Chelsea. After the hike, we'll make a stop somewhere for food and drinks before heading back home.

EVENT DETAILS:

10:00 AM – Meet at Worthwild
10:30 AM – Depart
12:00PM – Arrive at hike entrance
1:45 PM – Snack break on the trail
3:00 PM – Conclude hike head for food and drinks
5:30 PM - Depart back to NYC
