Join Trailblazer Caz for a soul-stirring day in Tasmania’s wild alpine landscapes.
Where: Hartz Mountains National Park
When: Saturday, 26th July 2025
Time: Meet at 9:00 AM for an 11 AM start (more on this below)
Distance: ~7.6km out-and-back | Hartz Peak Track
Grade: Moderate - Challenging | ~2.5 hour walk
We’ll be hiking to the summit of Hartz Peak, a stunning trail in Hartz Mountains National Park known for its glacial lakes, dramatic ridge lines, and sweeping views across the Southwest Wilderness. We might even experience some snow on the trail, if we’re lucky, the peaks will be dusted in white, making the journey all the more magical.
This will be an intimate hike with a small group of like-minded adventurers. We’re keeping numbers low to ensure a safe, relaxed, and enjoyable experience for everyone. Spots are limited!
Getting There - Carpool Option
We’re arranging a carpool from Hobart for anyone who’d like to share the journey. Once registrations are finalised, we’ll set up a group chat to coordinate details.
