    Event description

Pocket City Farms is continuously updating our covid practices to make our workshops and events as safe as possible, following the current guidelines and recommendations.

The name really says it all! Start your day out on the farm learning about what fruits and vegetables are in season, and get your hands dirty harvesting ingredients for the dishes you will be cooking. Nothing beats the intense flavour, aroma, and sensory pleasure of harvesting and eating ripe foods in season.

After the harvest, you will cook three different delicious, colourful plant-based dishes designed to maximize the flavours as well as the nutritional benefits of plant-based ingredients. This fabulous food is easy to prepare and a great way to connect with a friend, as Caroline shares her wealth of knowledge.

Finally, you will sit down together to celebrate and enjoy the delicious dishes you have created, topping it off with a dessert Caroline has prepared.

Food that is good for our bodies doesn’t need to be complicated, expensive, or restrictive. It is actually a celebration of what is growing now! Come along and experience the joy of eating fresh food – this is as local as you can get!

    Cost: $120
