HARVEST TALK: GROW YOUR OWN FOOD

Join local food enthusiast Zoe Anderson from the Canberra Environment Centre as she shows you how you can replace your favourite foods with local or homegrown options. Growing your own food connects you with the cycles of nature and gives you control over how your food is grown.

    • Lanyon Homestead
    • Saturday 30 April 2022
    • 1.00 -2.00pm
    • General Admission $30

Celebrate Lanyon Homestead’s autumn harvest and gardens. Drop by, have a picnic and enjoy the music, market stalls and gardens. For our garden lovers, book into the bush tucker and veggie growing talks. Get creative at the children’s drawing trail, the bee hotel, candle making or Victorian floristry workshops. Or join one of the garden or Homestead tours.

Free entry to the gardens. Ticket bookings required for museum tours, talks and workshops. Prebook a devonshire tea or picnic hamper from the Barracks Café.
