Hastings Vision For Climate Action

Head, Heart and Hands have spent the last 18 months facilitating climate adaptation experiential and networking events in the Port Macquarie Hastings area. During this time, individuals and groups have continued working on their own climate mitigation and resilience initiatives. Now is the time to pull this work together, via the co-creation of a grass-roots plan for future action.

The session will be facilitated by The Centre for Ecological Learning.  On the day, participants will identify actual and perceived community needs, create a locally focussed action plan for a broader climate change resilience project that lists key actions.  The document created will be owned by the community and managed by a working group.  

All locals are invited to attend this event.  It is important that existing knowledge within the community is considered and incorporated on the day, and that decision making is shared and inclusive to represent the widest range of community members.
