Hattie Craven & Her Band @ McCloud River Mountain Music
Event description
Having grown up in a musical household & community, Hattie Craven has lived and breathed music since her early years. Her father, award winning performer and educator Joe Craven, has been a continuous source of inspiration, fueling Hattie’s own exciting musical journey.
It all started when she was a bright-eyed four-year-old fiddler, stepped onto the main stage of The Kate Wolf Music Festival joining the dynamic singer/songwriter Laura Love. Moving through being a natural in musical theater and dance, Hattie quickly advanced from ensemble to lead roles in her early years, with a confidence and magnetic stage presence that has captivated audiences and garnered fans to this day. She has blossomed into a highly sought-after session vocalist since the age of eleven. She proudly holds three CDs that are a testament to her creativity beginning at 11 to her current age of 23.
Hattie draws musical influences from Amy Winehouse, Joni Mitchell, James Brown, Louis Prima and so many more. She effectively reimagines traditional folk, bluegrass, country, jazz and pop…creating new music that is truly her own. Hattie is also a fine writer of original songs that explore themes of love, loss, and resilience. Her music connects on a more personal level with every heart she catches.
