Travel instructions

The nearest tram stops to the Arts West Building are Stops 10 or 12 (Route 19) along Royal Parade.

Entry instructions

If entering from Royal Parade, the Arts West Building is located behind the Melbourne Conservatorium, on the other side of Medical Road. Look for signage to the Kathleen Fitzpatrick Theatre. On entering the building, walk up the stairs (chair lift available) and continue forward into the building. The north-wing lifts and main staircase to Level 1 are on your left in the main Atrium. If entering from the Swanston Street side, the main entrance to the Arts West Building is on Professors Walk, along from the Baillieu Library.

After entry instructions

Take the stairs or north-wing lifts to the Forum Theatre on Level 1. Stair-free access to the lifts is via a ramp located behind the large curved staircase in the Atrium.

Toilet location

Toilets are available on all levels of Arts West, including near the Forum Theatre.
